Die Marmolada ist mit 3343 die höchste Berggruppe der Dolomiten.
mit der Seilbahn kommt man über mehrere Sektionen hinauf zur Punta Rocca auf 3265 m mit einem Panoramabalkon.
An der Mittelstation Serauta befindet sich das höchstgelegene Museum Europas, das an den ersten Weltkrieg und die historische ,, Eisstadt" erinnert.

Today we went high up again 🚡. Our destination today was the Langkofelhütte. a beautiful mountain hiking trail, with majestic mountains on one side and the fantastic view into the valley and into the distance on the other side. Unfortunately, we turned back halfway through the tour for health reasons

Today we went high up again, to the statue (sculpture made of metal of surprising craftsmanship) of the Countess of Doleda, at Col dei Rossi. The Countess is a famous figure from an old Ladin legend in the Fassa Valley. We also enjoyed the fantastic panoramic view, simply beautiful.

First, we went from Alba to the historic center of Penia. It is a small center with a parish church and several historic buildings. Back in Alba, we relaxed back to Campitello di Fassa along the river, Tanaro.

With various lift facilities, we conquered a small part of the Dolomites today, and of course also on foot. The Fassa Valley is very well connected with various cable cars, making it possible to get to know the Dolomites from above. In the best weather, we made our way to Sass de Pordoi and were able to enjoy wonderful views.

For our farewell, we took the cable car once more to the "Sellaronda" hiking and skiing area and hiked a short tour to the Sellajoch pass. Today we also get to see marmots 😊
