Epplesee

A popular bathing lake in summer with a separate nudist area and a restaurant.
Outside of the bathing season, 2/3 of it can be circumnavigated on beautiful paths.

Parking (for cars) is chargeable during the season. That is a good thing. On the other hand, you can also get here easily with the S-Bahn. In the high season all hell breaks loose here.

There is a sailing club on the eastern shore and the southern shore is occupied by the gravel works that created (and are enlarging) the lake.

The lake is cool. But there are also very mischievous old women there who call the place around the tree theirs. If others are lying there, the quarrelsome women lie down right next to you and hang up your wet bathing suits directly over you, letting the air out of the tires on the wheels. They also claim that "the tree place is theirs and nobody is allowed to lie down there", which is why these "grazies" were given the name tree women. So if you want to have fun, lie down under this tree ;-) The lake has a kiosk where you can eat and drink cheaply and deliciously. Not good: the parking fees! They are definitely too expensive. If you want to stay the whole day, you have 12 euros away. That doesn't even require a good swimming pool. And before this greedy community even charges money, they should first clean the parking lot, only then they can charge "some" entry, but not to this extent.
