Revolution, War, Hunger and Death. It's no fun meeting these gentlemen. Yet you cannot escape this fascinating bronze sculpture group by sculptor Rik Poot, because they are located close to the photogenic Bonifacius Bridge. As a symbol for human destruction and the end of time, the whole is a representation of four earthly horrors. You can recognize them by the item the horsemen carry, a bow - Revolution, a sword - War, scales - Hunger and the gaunt face of the fourth horseman looks Death straight in the eye.

These four bronze statues by the sculptor Rik Poot are located in the Hof Arents. They represent the Four Horsemen of the Apocalypse, an allegorical representation of the earthly horrors of death, war, famine and revolution. The sculpture group was placed there at the end of 1987.
