I no longer have any idea why Brackenheim and its surroundings originally ended up on the "to-do" list. It was probably related to Theodor Heuss, who was born here. So, in glorious weather, I completed a city tour with a lot of half-timbered houses, as well as an extensive walk through the vineyards up to Stocksberg Castle.

Simply dug up an older tour from a few years ago at Schönbuchturm and repeated it with small changes. So it went in wonderful morning mood into the Schönbuch Nature Park, later also past some viewpoints on the Schönbuchtrauf.

Waiting until the small rain area had passed and then a partly quite muddy forest tour between Weissach, Iptingen and Mönsheim. The hike included, among other things, a detour into the Untere Klamm, the view of Mönsheim from the Buigen, as well as paths across the Kalkofen nature reserve.
