Bereits in jungen Jahren mit den Eltern beim Wandern in den Bergen und Zuhause in Franken unterwegs gewesen. Später dann in meiner Sturm- und Drangzeit zum Bergsteigen, Skifahren, Radln und Klettern in den Alpen unterwegs. Es kam die berufliche Karriere und sportlich wurde alles immer weniger.
Endlich, nach 35 Jahren am 09.10.2017 das Rauchen aufgehört und wieder mit dem Radln begonnen. Eine neue Sucht (Radln) und ein guter Entschluss. Seitdem hat mich die Natur wieder und ich fühle mich mega gut und frei.Radl-km ab Oktober 2017: 1126 km

Kürzlich beim Treffen im Schmausenkeller vereinbart: wie wäre es mal wieder mit einer gemeinsamen Tour in netter Dreisamkeit? Nach den "schwarzen Bergen in der Rhön" im Vorjahr sollte dieses Mal das Fichtelgebirge Mittelpunkt des Geschehens sein. So ging es heute auf den Ochsenkopf, gefolgt von reizvollen Trails, herrlichen Ausblicken und chilligem Miteinander.

Bevor unser diesjähriger "Komoot-Stammtisch" mit reger Beteiligung stattfand, gab es noch eine kleine Tour mit Tom und Jü - spontan geplant und geführt von Jü unter dem einladenden Titel "MTB-Appetizer for few Seidlas and a Franconian pork shoulder" 😄👍

Today we're heading to the bike park in Schöneck in the Vogtland region. I have to say, they've really upped the ante‼️ We had a fantastic day, the atmosphere and trails were 🔝. So we blasted through everything that came our way, sometimes good, sometimes not so good.

Out and about in the border region 🇩🇪 and immersing ourselves in my favorite re4 🇨🇿. Admittedly, it was a bit confusing today, as many trails in the Bavarian Forest/Sumava were closed until July 17th due to the capercaillie, but that didn't spoil the ride.
