Probably the most iconic district cinema in Hanover. It has been used continuously since 1908, making it one of the longest-running cinemas in northern Germany. It became a popular art house cinema in the 1970s. Today it is also the home stage of Desimos special club of the comedian Detlef "Desimo" Simon, who not only performs there himself, but also organizes comedy and cabaret performances.

A cozy little cinema with a great selection of films. The Desimo shows are great too! During the Corona period, Desimo and Matthias Brodowy often offered a live stream from there!
