Sunday morning walk with Birgit am Neckar in Neckargemünd.
Very interesting laid out path from Neckargemünd over the two bridges to Kleingemünd. On ten nature park boards, an exciting range of topics from historical and more recent extreme floods to the causes of water dynamics and protective measures is created.3 days ago

Now I did one more lap from Eberbach, although I didn't want to do that at first.
The way from Eberbach to Eutersee is not particularly strenuous and leads along both sides of the Itter through partly very idyllic landscapes.
Was very little going on today, Easter Sunday. I was astonished that I didn't meet a soul at the Eutersee. Even the country road that I partly drove was not very busy ... but it should be fine with me.
The tour was not planned, I just drove off and as I could now see from the elevation profile, it was steadily uphill to the Eutersee ... it didn't seem like that to me at all.

I owe this hike to "JuBo", because the two of them went on a similar tour there a year ago.
The round that I put together today is relatively "highlight" poor, because you can't see the forest for the trees ... means ... views are rare.
But if you're looking for peace and quiet, then you've come to the right place. So, so to speak, the path is the highlight.
But I don't want to hide two views: At the summit of the "Ochsenkopf" there is a lookout tower from which you have a great view of the Dilsberg and Neckarsteinach. I just chose the wrong time to look because the sun was shining in my face, later in the day would have been better.
And ... the view from the Rothsnasenhütte to Neckargemünd is phenomenal. For this highlight you don't have to turn the whole loop, as it is only about one kilometer from the parking lot via Kleingemünd to the hut.March 31, 2021

Actually, I'm not that much of a mountain cyclist, but whoever lives in Eberbach has to accept that it is always somehow up on the outside. Provided you don't always want to drive up or down the Neckar. I drove from Antonslust to Reisenbach two years ago or so. So I knew that the nine-kilometer climb would be tough for me.
But whatever? The enjoyment began for me from Reisenbach, since there weren't many more gradients to be expected from there.
That's it for the time being with mountain routes, the next tours will take me further afield and will probably be less strenuous.March 26, 2021

Actually, it should be a leisurely bike tour to Zwingenberg ... to the right of the Neckar ... back to the left of the Neckar.
But the forest workers thwarted my plans. The path between the Zwingenberger Hof and the Krösselbach ceramics workshop was closed due to forestry work.
So detour, up towards Neunkirchen and then at the first bend back down to Krösselbach ... but there too the workers were hard at work. So turn back again and continue up. Driving was simply impossible, sometimes I had to carry my bike. I hadn't imagined it that way. Finally after some effort I arrived in Krösselbach.
Contrary to what I thought, but today I did more for my fitness than I wanted. It had its good tooMarch 8, 2021

With a long-time friend, whom I have known since the 5th grade, I set out from Amorbach to the Gotthard ruins after we had previously visited the disappeared ... or enchanted ... village of Galmbach near Ernsttal.
The steep ascent is rewarded with excellent all-round visibility. The view extends to Miltenberg in the north and Engelberg Abbey above Groß-Heubach is easy to see.
Unfortunately, the view was clouded a little today by the Sahara dust in the air.March 3, 2021

Visit to the former village of Galmbach, or what was left of it. Today the few houses are called Eduardtal and the former forester's house can be rented as a weekend house

Start of the cycling season 2021 (in Formula 1 one would say installation round) with a tour around my hometown, including the districts of Pleutersbach and Rockenau

Because it was so beautiful yesterday and my wife was free today, we were on the road again.
I've always wanted to see the "Ariane V" model in Hardheim. We then made a little tour out of thisMarch 1, 2021
