On the way home from the restaurant there were two shops close together on Torstrasse that we had to visit: Neo Tokyo for mangas and then Gross Nonsense, where you can find manga as well as European comics.Unfortunately, I hadn't taken a picture in the Chotti's washroom, it was covered with Naruto manga pages from top to bottom; so many familiar faces, Naruto of course, Rock Lee and Sensei Guy, Sasuke with his brother, Gara, etc. 🥰Today we are lazy for the rest of the day and tomorrow we’ll go home.

Berlin is a juggernaut. Too many cars, driving and parking, always in the way. Accordingly, many streets are ugly. Hardly any space for pedestrians and cyclists. Nevertheless, we bravely walk kilometer by kilometer to a small Japanese restaurant that is open for lunch. Where there is no keiseki, but a good selection of dishes that a non-Japanese would have no problem with. (There are now sushi bars like a dime a dozen, but it doesn't really have to be “running sushi”. It sounds unhealthy.)In between, I quickly capture my impressions with a photo. Partly still buildings on which nothing has been done since World War II (apart from graffiti). Construction site after construction site, house renovations and new buildings without end, partly successful, partly just messed up, not fitting the environment. 🤷🏼♀️ There is so much to do in this city, there aren't that many construction workers ...Across from the restaurant was Anna Blume, a combination of a café and a flower shop. 😍Our meal at Chotti was good, I would love to come again. 🥢

Today we ran our feet on almost 15 km of running. But I only recorded a short part here because I didn't want Komoot to eat away my cell phone data again. Then a little later it occurred to me that I can simply forbid Komoot to do this when recording. You should just download an offline map beforehand.Eat something first at Hackescher Markt. Continue on Karl-Marx-Allee to the Computer Games Museum - one of the few museums that is open on Monday. Then with Komoot across the cemetery past the Friedrichshain Clinic to Bunkerberg and Märchenbrunnen in Friedrichshain. Komoot off again. In the end back to the hotel. Got another snack for dinner on the way. All ready and done ... 🥱😆I had to photograph the Moscow restaurant because when I saw it I remembered a visit to a restaurant in East Berlin with my parents in the late 1970s. I think it could have been this restaurant. In between there were stories of births and deaths in my mother-in-law's family, all of which suited the location. My head is smoking!

Today, at the express request of the son, took a tour of Weissensee with the mother-in-law and, thanks to Komoot, showed her ways that she hadn't known either. The special highlight (besides dildoking) was the side sun (the Parhelion or in English also called Sun Dog).Incidentally, I would not have expected the little wood there, it was immediately as if one were no longer in town. Fantastic! If I had seen the zombie hospital earlier, I would have loved to have a look. I've seen it many times from the main street, but I never switched that it was so dilapidated. 🤷🏼♀️

Eating in the Gaffelhaus, on the way there we were almost blown over. Some temporarily erected street signs slammed onto the ground and countless rental scooters and bikes of all kinds were lying around. 😬After that, however, it got better and we were able to inspect the open part of the new city palace almost unmolested by the storm and compare it with the State Council building. Finally, do a little shopping and take a Japanese snack with you for dinner. 😋

Last day before the autumn break. 😊When driving through Bornum I am again along the street where the youth club is because I couldn't take a photo of the graffiti there during the last visit. Because of the many annoying cars that were parked there on election Sunday, the youth club was a polling station.Continue via Mühlenberg, hoping this time to find the peace memorial in the form of an obelisk by Hans-Jürgen Breuste. With no students in the way, this was possible today, but I almost missed it again! 😆
The Wikipedia description said it should be an obelisk. What wasn't there was that it wasn't standing upright. I had to look twice to see what that broken thing was on a cart.In Empelde I saw some beautiful old farms, but only took one photo because I discovered the ox / horse harnesses on the wall. Do I have to go back someday?
