About Maik Richter

Foto-Equipment:

On Saturday, August 6th, I did my second longest day tour so far, at 201 km. It started from Dannenberg, via Dahlenburg, Lüneburg and Bardowick to Winsen/Luhe and back on the Elbe Cycle Path (via Laßrönne, Marschacht, Artlenburg, Hohnstorf, Bleckede, Wietzetze, Hitzacker, Penkefitz and Damnatz).

In the night from Sunday to Monday (July 24th and 25th) I did another night tour from Dannenberg to Wittenberge (on the Mecklenburg-Western Pomeranian / Brandenburg side of the Elbe). Then, on Monday morning, we went back on the other side of the Elbe (Saxony-Anhalt / Lower Saxony).

      At night I tried to

Bike ride to Lüneburg to pick up my Sony a7 III camera from the repair shop (at Media Markt). On this tour I was therefore also able to try out my two new lenses for the first time: a Tamron 24mm F/2.8 Di III OSD 1:2 macro wide-angle lens and a Sony FE 200-600mm F/5.6-6.3 G OSS super-telephoto lens

From Saturday to Sunday (July 9th and 10th) I did another night tour from Dannenberg to Lauenburg and back. I started on Saturday evening, just after 6 p.m. And on Sunday morning at 5 o'clock I arrived home again.

Since it was quite stormy on the way there and I had to kick against the wind, I took a

@Maik Richter Such a distance in this heat, respect 👍! The dragonfly pictures are cool, two years ago I got something similar, two copulating dragonflies in their nuptial flight.

That was only a small but a very nice lap, with a great sky at sunrise time. I was just a bit annoyed that I didn't cycle half an hour earlier to catch more of the blue hour before sunrise. Shortly before sunrise there were really nice, red clouds to see, luckily I was able to take a few photos of them
