The historic hedge theater in the Great Garden is still a unique open-air theater in the Great Garden and is used for theater and dance performances. The 300-year-old stage tapers towards the back and rises slightly, creating a perspective effect.
Gilded lead figures and yew pyramids form the end of the hornbeam hedges, which also serve as a backdrop and changing room. The lime trees and hedges planted in the stage area are also striking. A total of 30 mythical figures adorn the stage and the audience area. The auditorium offers space for almost 1000 visitors.
