    The Eichendorffsteig was named after Joseph Freiherr von Eichendorff in 1907. It connects the Wachwitzgrund with the Rochwitzer Höhe with a fairly natural staircase. Even if the path is not technically demanding, sturdy shoes are still recommended.

    A very nice hiking trail in the Wachwitzgrund, which leads down either directly to the Wachwitz village square or with a left turn (like we did) to the television tower.
