The Wachwitzgrund Trail is a super beautiful, but also strenuous route and is great for getting to the Schönfeld highlands or to reach the "Old Railway Dam" or to get to the heath.
So far I have only driven from “bottom to top”.

At the beginning it winds its way between the houses through a narrow alley and you have to take a deep breath here and there. :)

From half the surface changes from tar to forest floor, but it can still be driven great. A look to the right to the television tower makes up for the climb.

Really a very nice way. Initially paved as long as there are houses, later forest path. Leads to Rochwitz, from there either to Bühlau and still above. Or to the suspension railway 🚠 and down the valley towards the Blue Wonder. A fantastic view.
