Hiking
The oldest surviving written evidence of a fortification in the town of Pfeddersheim dates from 1276, the oldest evidence of the Landwehr from 1449. But the latter is certainly older. The city wall already existed before Pfeddersheim received city rights at the beginning of the 14th century. (Wikipedia)
