The fog made us really unenthusiastic today, but no matter, we just went out. From Laubenheimer Höhe, we walked through vineyards with the visibility slowly improving to Bodenheim. There, we did a short loop around the village and then headed back through the vineyards, making another detour to Laubenheim

The Saar-Hunsrück Dream Loops are the "little" siblings of the Dream Loops and range from 2 to 6 km in length. To make the trip worthwhile, we decided to tackle the triple challenge today :-)



We started with the Spitzer Stein Dream Loop at the hiking parking lot of the same name. Right at the top of Spitzer

Dietzenbach was somehow still missing from our itinerary. So, we started today at the train station, strolled through the beautiful old town, and then climbed up to the observation tower. The 120 steps are definitely worth it, even in miserable weather like today.

Today's stage began in Rheinbrohl. The Romans called the settlement Broele trans rhenum and built a stone fort here, which formed the starting point of the Upper Germanic-Raetian Limes. The Rheinsteig trail initially climbed steeply to Kolpinghöhe and then continued along paths thoroughly churned up
