While the racers had to go around the racetrack 8 times, I took a look at the whole route on foot.
Beautiful area and I saw some dream loops.
The guys, still not quite at full strength, had a good race, but it wasn't enough for the climbers to make it to the podium today either.

Today we were above Heidelberg, between Königsstuhl and Hirschberg... lots of forest, some huts, some fountains and a tower, which unfortunately is only open on weekends/holidays.
A nice tour and better weather than expected.

Today the surprise was great, at 5:30 a WhatsApp and a short call came... another 100 km and I'll be at your door, and so it was, I was happy as can be 🥰, Astrid is a bit crazy 🫶. Picked up Tanja, had a short appointment in Frankental, had a nice breakfast and did a small, fine loop around Maxdorf
