Herrnsheim Castle is one of the most outstanding Empire-style castles in Rhineland-Palatinate, and its park is idyllic and offers numerous photo opportunities. It's easy to imagine couples strolling arm in arm with a parasol, à la Jane Austen. Incidentally, you can tie the knot here in the castle—or even in the park; the park is a very popular backdrop for wedding photos.

The palace, in Empire style, can be visited a few days a year; according to info from Worms.de:

Public tours for individual guests and small groups of up to 6 people through Herrnsheim Palace and Park:

from April to October, always on the third Sunday of the month
        Time: 10.30 a.m., duration: 2 hours
Costs: € 6, children up to 14 years free

In addition to the interior and the historical facts, the tourist guides are also happy to tell you about the myths of the castle or the former castle owners (e.g. Napoleon's death mask).
