The Fürth Town Hall is the landmark of the Middle Franconian city. It is located in the center of Fürth on Königstrasse and is the tallest building in the city centre.
It was built between 1840 and 1844 according to plans by Georg Friedrich Christian Bürklein, which Eduard Bürklein says he "co-edited".[1] From 1845 to 1850 another component followed with the tower, which is copied from the Palazzo Vecchio in Florence. In 1900/01, an extension was built on Königstraße (architect: Friedrich von Thiersch), which now houses the conference room.

During the Michaeliskirchweih in Fürth and on special occasions, the tower is illuminated with lamps. On special occasions, e.g. B. the open house, there is the possibility to visit the tower. Every day at 12:04 p.m. a carillon sounds from the tower (Stairway to Heaven by Led Zeppelin).
The subway stop and public transport are ideal starting points for various tours.
