Shortly thereafter we reached the "Hardsteg", a pedestrian walkway consisting of two parts. A bridge leads over the Rednitz and over the footbridge you reach Cadolzburger Straße.
From the bridge you have a beautiful view of the "Waldmannsweiher". This is one of the "backwaters", a type of water body that has become rare. "Backwaters" are created by a pinch off of river loops and are then usually only connected to the actual river during high water or via the groundwater.translated by
