From above, as the crow flies, it is 1 km from Le Bonhomme, 3 km from Lapoutroie and 4 km from Orbey. Built in a wooded area, the French and German cemeteries benefit from an exceptional landscape setting. The Tête des Faux also has the particularity of having a cemetery built by the French army during the war and two cemeteries that were created by the Bavarians in January 1916, because of the lack of space at the top of the Tête des Faux to place the dead. buried: from Eihexenweiherkirchoss cemeteries die Kahm, cemetery in the back, and the cemetery Rabenbühl, front line cemetery.
Kahm Cemetery is laid out in terraces under forest cover and partly small by stone walls of local granite, but it has no physical limit on the upper part to allow for gradual expansion. This venue, in keeping with tradition, is set in beautiful grounds laid out in steps connected by steps that structure the cemetery. The dry stone walls are fitted with niches for lamps (Hindenburglichter) or religious statues of the Stations of the Cross.

The remains of the soldiers who were buried in the two German cemeteries at "Tete des Faux" (Buchenkopf) during the war were later reburied at the German war cemetery in Hohrod (near Lingekopf).
The French necropolis on the other side (Carrefour Duchesne) has remained a burial place.
