Drove up, parked, hiked, left the bratwurst turn-off to the left and, after unspectacular forest paths in 30° warm September weather, ate very spectacularly.
The rump steak with fried potatoes was sensationally good. The spinach dumplings with leaf salad were also super good. Highly recommended 👍🤩😍

Finally, I had time to close the second gap in my Vosges crossing, which I started 2 + 3 years ago.
So, I set off from Goldscheuer at 06:50 to cover a few well-known Vosges passes under the wheels in about 4 hours to start the hike.
