Hiking

With the construction of the LWL Roman Museum, the idea of reconstructing parts of the main Roman camp in the outdoor area was born. Now the idea of the “Aliso Roman construction site” directly behind the museum has become reality. After more than four years of construction, the first building was rebuilt in 2016. Part of the wood-earth wall and the western gate of the Roman main camp give an impression of the imposing architecture of antiquity. In 2022 the guardhouse at the West Gate was added.
