The passenger ship Möwe on the Halterner Stausee starts its season from March 1st. Tickets are available at moewe-haltern.de. The Möwe runs fully electric and thus glides almost silently across the reservoir. You can wonderfully combine your hike of the Hohe-Mark-Steig with a short boat trip. Because the landing stage here on the north bank is located directly on the water route of the Hohe Mark Steig. If you then take the ship to the south bank (landing stage Seehof), you can continue directly with stage 5 here.
