Quickly completed a lap in front of the front door for a good cause. Yesterday and today the outdoor crew supported the "WaldMachtMut" project with Komoot for every kilometer. Despite my daughter's communion today, I wanted to open up myself. Even if there was no time left, I am now happy to have contributed a small part to the good and valuable organization.P.S .:
In September I am planning a donation project myself for a good cause. If you would like to support me in this, please follow me here on komoot or directly at facebook.com/markussupertramp
More information will follow shortly .... Thank you in advance for your possible support

Today with my traveling companion Andi, komoot.de/user/741945358743, made another Corona-compliant after-work tour. From the heap in Northern Germany, today's round started in the direction of Kamp Lintfort. The route led over the dump via the State Garden Show (LaGA) through Kamp Lintfort to the beautifully landscaped Kamp Monastery with its terrace garden. Back towards the starting point, we walked a bit on the "WandelWeg" in the direction of Rayen, where we took the Rayener Berg and the Rayener Mühle with us. Due to the curfew at night, we had to shorten our tour a bit, which explains the final and not so beautiful 2 km federal road. However, we were back punctually at 10 p.m. with our cars at home ... ;-)P.S .:

Today, for a change, a short round with the Mtb over the local villages to enjoy the sunny end of the day.At the always beautiful Niers in the direction of Neersen Castle, I feel like putting my kayak back on the water soon. The seats for the castle games are already being set up at Neersen Castle, which hopefully can still take place in some form this year despite Corona. The thumbs are pressed ... ✊🏻Stay healthy and active ...P.S .:

      Tour description:
On the 7.2 km long circular route there are numerous adventure stations to discover about nature, culture, archeology, geology and history. The path leads through the floodplain landscape of the Urft valley and over mountain ranges with a distant view. The hiking time for the route depends entirely on the length of stay at the stations. The mascot "Olly the hedgehog" is on all wooden signposts and accompanies the hikers on the way. Feel nature up close, immerse yourself in the history of the Romans, and collect 380 million year old fossils - all of this makes the adventure trail an adventure for children and adults. Knock stones, smell herbs, play music on wood or feel the forest floor barefoot - there is a lot to discover and try out at 20 stations. Two shelters and cozy resting places invite you to linger and strengthen yourself for further adventures: so don't forget a picnic! (Source Outdooractive)

Today a hike through the Rotthäuser Bachtal and the Stindertal. Thereby passages of the Neanderland-Steig happened again and again. Due to the weekend, the route was (as expected) very busy. Especially the piece on Gut Papendelle.Beautiful passages, especially on the Rotthäuser Bach and on the Stinderbach, which are also suitable for small family tours thanks to several hiking car parks. A number of benches with panoramic views invite you to linger. Conclusion: "You can do it" ....P.S .:

We did today's hike on the Obstweg exactly a year ago (April 10th, 2020) in the finest sunshine. So we thought that today would be a good contrast in rainy weather ;-)The Bergische Streifzüge (bergisches-wanderland.de/bergische-streifzuege/alle-streifzuege) are varied themed trails for the whole family. The fruit path is of course a great experience, especially in spring when it is blooming, and with its five stations it offers educational information for young and old. In the sunny weather a year ago, the scenery was a bit nicer. But we had the way to ourselves today ... ;-)P.S .:

      In advance:
If you want to pursue the tour and want to save yourself 1km of federal road, you can park directly in front of the Trass caves or take the entrance from the hiking car park Schloss Burgbrohl ....
      To the tour:
Today everything was there for me - kilometers, vertical meters, water, forests, volcanoes, wide views, caves, some Roman history and beautiful architecture =>
-Trasshöhlen -Teufelsbochen -Schloss Burgbrohl -Lydia-Turm -Laacher See -loster Maria Laach, Teufelskanzel -Wolfsschlucht

Today completed the "Sonnenkino-Krimi-Wanderweg" wanderwegewelt.de/blog/allgemein/tour-1107-rheurdt-schaephuysen-sonnenkino-und-krimiwanderung with the family.A very nice idea. We were able to solve the case in spite of the unfortunately not so good routing (even if we could not find statement 8) .... in other words, if you want to imitate the path, you do not necessarily follow our recording ... ;-)P.S .:

Dear hiking friends,The 5th relay hike on my part will take place over Whitsun 2021. The principle of walking in a few days has proven its worth in the Eifel. This time even the biggest (❗) komoot relay hike to date, whereby the challenge is that in the end all stages have been walked and we may have hiked over 1000 km together. You can choose a route and walk it between May 22nd and May 24th.This event should involve participants from all over North Rhine-Westphalia and the neighboring countries.-----The following principles apply:
      - The start and end points must be identical, the route may differ (I planned some routes more precisely, others only slightly guided 😉)
      - It doesn't matter in which direction (A-B, B-A) you run
      - Your komoot profile must not be "private" because every tour should be public
      - mark me at the end of the tour so that I can add to the collection
      - To make it easier for me to sort the collection into the correct order, it would be great if you had the stage number at the front of the tour (you can of course change that afterwards)
To assign the stages, I created 4 doodle surveys (roughly sorted according to the cardinal points):
      North Rhine-Westphalia: doodle.com/poll/bdumfkku4mx32a5f
      NRW East: doodle.com/poll/qac49kxwnxukurnb
      NRW South: doodle.com/poll/qwrsbvqftmxwqggq
      NRW West: doodle.com/poll/m2qfiiryynis4nqa
Just enter your name under which you are active at komoot. Just choose your desired stage, if it is still free.
Should you still not be able to walk your set route, send me an email at der.buechi.komoot@gmail.com so that I can release the tour for other interested parties.---The corresponding collection:komoot.de/collection/1122809/-virtuelle-komoot-staffelwanderung-1000-km-durch-nrw-pfingsten-2021

After yesterday's two stages with a total of approx. 40 km, a relaxed "run out" was announced today. So this little round in front of the front door was a good idea. Neersen Castle and the Niers, in the guise of the beginning of spring, are always worth a visit.P.S .:
