EifelBahnSteig Etappe 1: von Euskirchen nach Satzvey
Der EifelBahnSteig ist eigentlich kein offizieller Wanderweg mit Markierungen sondern ein 528 Km langer GPS Wanderweg. Der Steig läuft verläuft zum ´großen Teil auf naturbelassenen Wegen und kleinen urwüchsigen Pfaden. Der Asphaltanteil ist daher auch sehr gering und er zeigt uns die Schönheiten der Eifel abseits der Eifelschleifen und Hauptwanderwege

Da im Sauerland momentan einige Bahnstrecken gesperrt sind, musste ein neues Projekt ran und es ging auf die andere Rheinseite in die mir nicht so besonders bekannte Eifel. Der Steig steht aber auch schon länger auf meine Liste.

Abwechslungsreiche Etappe. Asphalt, Wald- und Wiesenwege mit tollen Aussichten. Bucht schön war ein knapp 3 km langer Asphaltabschnitt an einer allerdings nicht viel befahrenen Kreisstraße

Herbstwanderung durch die Hohe Mark: von Maria Veen nach Haltern am See
Anfangs über Feldwegen mit geringem Asphaltanteil und dann nur noch durch den Wald über mal schmale, mal etwas breitere Pfade. Einfach ein Traum😊😊

Es ging abwechselnd über Wald- und Wiesenwege und Asphalt, wobei der Asphaltanteil von 40% für einen Pilgerweg noch Recht passabel war. Einzig ein 1.5 km langes Stück an der K 21 entlang war nicht gerade angenehm. Die empfohlene Umleitung bin ich nicht gegangen, sondern habe mich durch die Büsche geschlagen.

Überwiegend schöne Waldwege, sehr geringer Asphaltanteil. Ein langer Anstieg und zwei Passagen, wo kein Weg mehr zu erkennen und entsprechend alles zugewuchert war. Diese kann man umgehen.
