From here you have a wonderful view of the White Cross, also called Sophienkreuz.
Since 1952 it has been a listed monument and is today an excursion destination with a view of the city of Greiz and the princely park.
It was erected in 1838 in memory of Princess Sophie Maria Theresia zu Löwenstein-Wertheim-Rosenberg (1809–1838).
This year, 2025, it was completely renovated after 40 years.
