From here, you have a wonderful view of the White Cross, also known as the Sophienkreuz (Sophia's Cross).
It has been a listed monument since 1952 and is now a tourist destination with views of the city of Greiz and the princely park.
It was erected in 1838 in memory of Princess Sophie Maria Theresia of Löwenstein-Wertheim-Rosenberg (1809–1838).
This year, after 40 years, it was completely renovated.
