📸 After the sun finally made an appearance around midday, I spontaneously decided to go for a short walk. 🥾 On my last outing, the cormorants were further out of town, so I was all the more surprised to find some already in the city center, clearly enjoying themselves. After snapping a few photos

📸 🔭 Since we spotted and photographed quite a few cormorants, herons, and goosanders on our walk yesterday, we simply had to do the same route again today in this glorious weather, hoping for a bit more luck with the photos 🤩

So, off to the Elster River again to look for birds 🦅🦢, and what can I say!! It was definitely worth it 👍. My subjects today included grey herons, great egrets, cormorants, goosanders

After a good amount of snow fell overnight 🌑, it was clear that after work, a walk 🥾 was a must. The temperatures were a bit milder today, but there wasn't much wildlife activity – just the usual: robins, blue tits, great tits, etc. Only towards the end of the walk did we manage to spot some great

📸 🔭 I was planning another short walk today, of course with my camera 📷, but after a few minutes it started snowing 🌨️, I packed it away for safety. 🎒

When the snow stopped, I was able to capture a few more scenes 😊

📸 🔭 Barely back from Mühlhausen, quickly tidied up, had to go for a short walk around the house 🥾, stretch my legs 🦶, and get some fresh air after the car ride 🚙

📸 Our New Year's Eve party this year took place in Mühlhausen (Thuringia), at the Brauhaus zum Löwen (brewery), which we highly recommend – everything was perfect! 🤩👍 Since we arrived a day early with our best friends, we naturally had to do a little exploring, taking some photos 📸 in the evening

📸 Since I had business in Marktredwitz today, it seemed like a good idea to follow it up with a hike in the Fichtel Mountains 🏔️, and that was a great decision 👍 So I started my tour in Bad Alexandersbad, which I quickly found here on Komoot 😊

Although the rock labyrinth is closed for safety reasons

📸 After cleaning my camera's sensor 📷, I immediately had to go for a test run 🥾 to take some photos. Today I headed towards the city park 🌳 again, and since there are several father-and-son sculptures along my route through the pedestrian zone, I photographed them 🏙️.

📸 Today, with this fantastic weather 🌞❄️, I simply had to take a little stroll 🥾, and of course, I took my camera 📷 with me, as some beautiful 🤩 ice crystals ❄️ had formed overnight. I used my telephoto lens 🔭 because I was also looking for squirrels 🐿️ at the main cemetery 👀
