The English Garden is pure Munich lifestyle - and has been for over 225 years. The sprawling complex has a lot to offer all year round.
Whenever the weather is mild, half of Munich flows into the English Garden. It does not matter if you meet friends for a picnic, have a beer after work in the sun, play football on the expansive meadows or start a spontaneous jam session with other musicians: there are no crowds here, but you can easily meet new people here.
Even in quaint sports like Quidditch or the Irish hurling you can watch athletes here. In between, it's easy to glide over the lake on a boat or drink a drink in the sun in one of the beer gardens. The English Garden is a huge recreational space in the middle of the city, where clocks slow down. Pure Munich lifestyle!muenchen.de/sehenswuerdigkeiten/orte/120242.html
