The Oberföhring weir is a weir system on the Isar in the north of Munich and at the same time the inlet structure of the Middle Isar Canal. However, the weir itself is not a hydroelectric power station. But there is a small, largely underground power plant immediately below the weir, through which the water from the canal is returned to the Isar.

A nice way to change the side of the Isar. From west to east you can get to Herzogpark fairly quickly (between Mauerkircherstr. And on the high bank of Oberföhringer Str.). Furthermore, you can quickly get to the wide green strips on Wahnfriedallee and the park on Odinstr. And one more thing: Why do special Buildings are repeatedly covered with useless graffiti?
