Iron sculpture by Johann-Peter Hinz in front of St. Burchardi Church in Halberstadt. Title: "Breaks in History." The title symbolically refers to the five continents and also depicts five broken organ pipes. The sculpture was created by the first city council after the fall of the Berlin Wall and stands in front of the church, where John Cage's organ concert "ASLSP" can be heard, continuing into the year 2640.
