One of the most innovative art projects in Saxony-Anhalt has been running in the Romanesque, towerless basilica since 2001: The international performance of ORGAN / ASLSP, an organ composition by American avant-garde artist John Cage (1912 - 1992) over a period of 639 years. In this version it is the longest piece of music in the world.
