This is the Daneilshöhle: Many signposts on the Huywanderwege point the way to her. The Daneilshöhle forms three interconnected rooms in a rock face of the central federal sandstone. These are apparently caused by leaching in the Tertiary or in the Ice Age, so geological origin. Perpendicular walls and holes at the entrances indicate that the cave was enlarged by human hands and probably served as a hermitage or as a shelter for highwaymen in the Middle Ages.(Source: roederhof.de)
