The west-side harbor district is one of Flensburg's oldest districts and stretches along the ship bridge from the Maritime Museum to Hansen's brewery. This is where the Oluf Samson Gang or the Sailmaker's Street lead into the harbor area. A particularly interesting building in this environment is the recently renovated Hafen Hotel. The symbiosis of historical and modern parts of the building is highly successful here and significantly enhances the entire area.
