The hike follows three long-distance hiking trails that all follow the same route up to a few hundred meters:1. My real goal: The European long-distance hiking trail E1. Approx. 1 1/2 stages will be covered from this path.2. Jakobsweg Via Jutlandica: Again, about 1 1/2 stages.3. The Ox Trail, a pilgrimage route from Viborg / Denmark to Wedel / Germany that is over a thousand years old and predominantly a model for the Via Jutlandica Way of St. JamesOnly at Sankelmarker See does the E1 turn around to the right, while the Jakobsweg takes the left variant, otherwise the course of all three paths is identical.Starting from Schloss Gottorf in Schleswig, it goes through forest paths, paved small roads and meadow paths through forest, moor and heath landscapes. In some areas you sometimes follow cycle paths along somewhat more busy roads, but luckily this is not often the case.I saved myself the way through the Flensburg industrial areas to the train station, although it is not far away anymore ... especially since I only walked across the city last week on the conveyor belt.

The third and last section on the Fördesteig (apart from the little walks every now and then ...)At the Schusterkate, the Fördersteig actually begins as a continuation of the Danish Gendarmstien on the German side, since I have walked in the other direction, I will join the Gendarmstien on occasion ...The Skomagerhus / Schusterkate border crossing is one of the smallest of its kind in Europe and is also the only one connecting Germany and Denmark with a bridge (pedestrians only).
Currently blocked, of course, who would have thought ...
