Deep down on the bed of the Nagold, the 64 meter high church tower watches over the Calw city center.
Since it was first built after 1260, the church has experienced multiple destructions and renovations over the course of history. The current building is a new building from 1884. You can still admire the style in the interior of the church today. The choir stalls, the pews and parapets on the galleries date from that time. The choir windows, which were donated by the citizens of Calw, are also worth seeing.

Today's Protestant town church of St. Peter and Paul, built in the neo-Gothic architectural style, was inaugurated in 1888. It lies above the Calw market square and towers over the city center with its 64 meter high church tower. It is the main church of the entire parish of Calw and the Calw-Nagold church district in the Evangelical Regional Church in Württemberg.
