Information about the trail also here:
Nice, informative round. Parts of the way are also signposted bike paths, there was already a lot going on in the weather today.

On the last day of our stay in Rothenburg, we made the trail W2 (to the Rothenburg mills).
The hikes are described here:
In my opinion that was the most beautiful of ours.
As with the others noted: the signs in the old town as good as not available, but on the outside quite good.

Today we have made the 2 Rothenburger hiking trails W8 (Postbotenweg) and W3 (small hike through the Tauber Valley). Both begin and end at the marketplace.
The W8 is 13.5 km long. I especially liked the 2 passages in Vorbachtal and Hohbachtal, nice quiet paths in the forest.
The W3 is 4 km long, but parts of it run along a road.
In both ways there are always beautiful views of the old town and they also lead through beautiful streets within the old town, where the mark is truly not consistent.
Overall, it was really nice.

Today we have essentially made the hiking trail W5, a circular walk that actually begins at the market place.
The part of Rothenburg more distant part was a bit monotonous, a lot of field and sunny. The part around Rothenburg with the two valleys Schandtauber and Blinksteige is recommended.
We then added a small city tour.

Today we made the Inselberg and walked a bit along the Rennsteig. As on the island mountain a fun park including a large parking lot, you are not completely alone, was on Friday morning but still ok. From the large island mountain you have a great view, but today it was a bit hazy.
