Today's quick-build, economical wooden bridges, which can also be found in Kronach, start to mold and crumble after just 15 years.

A bridge with a roof lasts at least 50 years - if the roof is well looked after.

I like the bridge very much not only because of the protective roof, but also because of the access ramp on both sides.
