The Bilzermolen (also: Bilsermolen or Bouchoutmolen): this undershot mill indeed functioned as a flour mill. There was a mill here as early as the 13th century, and in 1569 it was mentioned as the Bouchout mill. In 1893 the mill was damaged and then repaired. The mill operation was stopped around the years of the Second World War. In 1998, the Demer flooded, damaging the mill's slopes. To prevent this, a bypass with a fish ladder was built in 2001. The mill house was also restored at the beginning of the 21st century. The mill has a metal half-turn wheel and the grinding mechanism is still intact. The current resident carried out renovation work on the metal mill wheel, the tree and the interior of the mill around 2022.
