Islote de Fermina - built as a boatyard off the coast of Arrecife at the beginning of the 20th century, it was to be rebuilt in the 1970s by César Manrique, modeled on the 'Parque Marítimo' in Tenerife. This plan failed for more than 50 years. The small island became a ruin and was only systematically renovated and renovated from the ground up in 2019. The opening took place in February 2023. The only downer: bathing or swimming is not allowed at the moment. The only option is a short walk through the complex or a snack in the cafeteria. Another disadvantage is the rather short opening hours, which end at 5 p.m. every day.
