The 'Casa Amarilla (yellow house)' very often contains very interesting exhibitions, most of which are directly related to the island. If you compare this building with the current Cabildo at the 'Recinto de Ferial', then you quickly realize how tranquil life was in Lanzarote in the 20th century.

The 'old Cabildo', the former seat of the island's government, now houses Lanzarote's 'digital memory' (archive) and regular exhibitions. It lost its status as a CACT (Centros de Arte, Cultura y Turismo) cultural center in 2020.
