Dating from 2022, this sculpture by Jorge Isaac Medina pays homage to Ernest Hemingway and the sailor who inspired his fabulous novella 'The Old Man and the Sea' in Cuba. This is Gregorio Fuentes Betancourt (1897 - 2004), who was born in Lanzarote and later emigrated to Cuba.
