Combai - path 1025 - Borgo Vergoman - path 1025 - Fontana Pissot - Calchera - path 1025 - Pian de Combai - path 1025 - Casera Gabrel - path 1025 - Le Serre - Pedena - path 1025 - Acque Salse - path 1025 - Coste - CombaiFrom Follina you reach the large parking area located at the eastern entrance of Combai, near the so-called "curve of the Christ" (Via Trento). From here, head towards the town center on a pedestrian staircase that climbs towards Pizzeria 395. From the Cooperativa Dell'Alta Marca, take Via Vecchia for Miane and from here the path 1025 which descends to the left along an ancient cemented road at the edge. of Val Fontana. Among large chestnut trees, descend towards Borgo Vergoman, a hamlet of Miane. After about 800 m, after passing the Fosso della Fratta, you reach the first houses by continuing on Via Crodoi up to number 3. From here, turn right following the signs for the Cicloturistico delle Prealpi Trevigiane route, even if the signpost 1025 indicates the direction opposite to. Following the natural continuation of the road to the left, you enter Via Calchera. From here turn right towards the valley floor. After passing a nice renovated shed, keep right at the next crossroads, starting to climb along a small road. After a large turn on hairpin bends, you enter the vineyards of the Calchera area. At the next crossroads, near a large walnut, we pass the detour (with no way out) that leads to Val da Ross to continue uphill with a first turn to the right. After 30-40 meters you leave the dirt road to turn left through the vineyards aiming at the brick cottage above us. Finding the trail signs again, continue comfortably up to the intersection with Via Ronch. Here we turn left and continue slightly downhill for 200 m to the Pian de Combai junction, at the base of the Duel, a hilly relief that delimits the valley. We continue to the left again slightly uphill on a concrete road, then a dirt road, being careful to maintain the central direction ignoring the various deviations (2 on the right and 1 on the left). After 300 m you reach Casera Gabrel, at the top of the ridge, which offers a magnificent view over the hills of Campea. From here we will continue for another 800 m on the crest of the Duel on a wide and easy road. After a slight descent into the woods between easy rocks, you reach the intersection with the forest road which engages from the left. Here we reverse the direction with a sharp turn in the vicinity of a small stone cottage (ruin) where the 1025 signpost is marked. Now the descent strip begins on a traverse that cuts diagonally across the southern slope of the hill. After about 700 m, of which the last among the vineyards, we enter the underlying Via Cava and continue westwards going up the valley floor. After another 800 m, near a large branch between the vineyards, we turn right with a sharp bend in the direction of Casale Vacca, except to keep right again on the narrow road that runs along the wall of a property and climbs to the locality Pedena al croce in wood near a hairpin bend. It is one of the seven crosses distributed between 1862 and 1868 in the Combai area that have as their fulcrum the oratory of Our Lady of Sorrows on Col Ronch and radiate off in perfect optical alignment. Going around the Duel you start the descent towards Pian de Combai, except to turn left after 400 m. The path, well indicated, leads into the woods until it crosses the vallenoncello in the locality of Acque Salse. Going up to the opposite bank, walk along a winding stretch between the rows of vines in the Baiosa area, paying attention to identify what remains of the faded trail markers. Reached a country road, cross the slopes of the Coste diagonally west until you reach some wooden benches. Here, turn right and continue towards the town of Combai. Going down Via Miramonti you reach the nineteenth-century capital dedicated to St. Anthony of Padua. From here turn left onto Via Capovilla crossing the old Borgo Pedepiai. After passing the parish church, you come back to the SP36 and from here to the starting point.
