A tribute from the city of San Cristóbal de La Laguna to the researcher, humanist, and professor born in Arrecife (Lanzarote), who is considered the father of Spanish physics.
The bust was created at the initiative of the Friends of the Cabrera Pinto Canary Islands Institute and the Royal Economic Society of Friends of Tenerife and was unveiled in June 2002. It is located in the Plaza de Guillermo Rances.
