    Hiking

The Frauentor is the only one of the former city gates of the inner city wall in Mühlhausen that has been preserved. In the immediate vicinity, from Herren-/Holzstraße, is the entrance to the city wall, which is accessible for a length of around 370 meters. The climb up the Rabenturm is rewarded with a wonderful panoramic view of the city and the surrounding area.

Mühlhausen is one of the few cities that still has an almost complete medieval city wall. The inner city wall at that time had a length of about 2700 meters and had 38 towers. Of the seven inner city gates, which also had Vorortore, only the Frauentor am Blobach is left. The inner city wall was built around 1200. From the city side of the Inner Women's Gate, the museum-made fortifications over a length of 330 meters can be visited. In addition, the platform of the Rabenturm offers a view over Mühlhausen and the surrounding area.

    Hiking

The walkable city wall with the raven tower and the buildings directly on the city wall are real highlights in Mühlhausen. Open Mon-Sun (Easter - early November), 10-17 clock, 5 EUR admission. The city wall is currently being restored in the Inner Frauentor / Rabenturm area, probably until the beginning of 2020. The entrance to the historic weir system was therefore relocated and is somewhat hidden.
