While searching for a special Hohenlohe castle, we stumbled upon Vellberg. A really great little town worth seeing with massive town fortifications.
Actually, we wanted to walk a bit further in the Bühlertal, but the route was unfortunately closed and we didn't want to subject ourselves to the detour along the road.

Today we went on a bike tour north of Bruchsal. We visited the towns of Forst and Karlsdorf. We rode back through the forest near Hambrücken.
We enjoyed the sun for one half of the tour and were pleased about the subsequent shade.

Today, dinner had to be earned once again. So we cycled through woods and fields to Sinsheim. There we had delicious food at the Greek restaurant in the city center. Afterwards, we cycled back and encountered a mother duck with her offspring at the Hilsbacher See.
All in all, a beautiful, quite shady tour with few climbs.

Today we found a tour at Liebenstein Castle. This allowed us to close some gaps in our knowledge of the Württemberg nobility. We also climbed the tower and were able to inspect the castle chapel from the inside.
