Walk of Fame Sibiu

The "Walk of Fame" in Sibiu, modeled on the original in Hollywood, is intended to honor personalities who have made a contribution to art and culture in the city and its surroundings. Each of those immortalized here, including numerous international celebrities, has a unique story that connects them to the city. The "Walk of Fame" was opened in 2013 on the twentieth anniversary of the Sibiu International Theater Festival.

In the summer of 2013, the glory mile of Sibiu was inaugurated. Artists, cultural figures, athletes who have made the city known and contributed to its cosmopolitan image are immortalized on the sidewalk on the Upper Promenade. It makes sense that the famous mile of fame lies between the city's first theater in the Dicken Turm and the planned new theater construction. Like part of the city walls, the names of the personalities should remain visible for future generations. Each of the slabs embedded in the sidewalk is based on an extraordinary story, interwoven with city life.
In this way, the city would like to thank its personalities.
