"Environmentally friendly wastewater treatment is possible everywhere, even at the remote Taubensuhl excursion destination in the middle of the Palatinate Forest. There the EWL built a plant-based sewage treatment plant for the hamlet [Taubensuhl] in 1988 and regularly checks the operation. With the help of pumps, creepers and microorganisms clean the wastewater there in different basins. This alternative was the much more economical alternative to connection to the public sewer network for the remote excursion restaurant. "
