Uiuiui ... It was a nice tour. 😁 If you are early in the forest, you have it to yourself. Again today. 😉
There wasn't much to see towards the end of the tour, but it was at the beginning. Off the path we surprisingly saw a lost place 😉 and the forest nature trail is not only fun for the young children.
In the Hornesselwiese we suddenly encountered a herd of alpacas. 😁
Wherever we took our break.
Towards the end of the tour there were only natural paths and some of the former roads.
Nevertheless, it was a nice day of hiking. ✌️😎

Walking during the week is the best time for it ... You have the whole forest to yourself! 😁🎉
Today we were near Pirmasens, in the "Hexenklamm" and in the "Kälberklamm", both of which have several smaller waterfalls. Simply pure nature - mega! 🎉
And as I said ... During the week you have such great highlights for yourself. 😁On the way from one gorge to the other, there were smaller spectacles in the sky. A few pilots wanted to test their planes again and we saw (at the right moment, in the right place, at the right angle) a rainbow directly in the sky. 😳 I've never seen anything like this, just like the cloud formations. 😊 class. Then I found a small lost place, a bully in the forest and much more.
A really nice hiking day. ✌️😎

Today we were in Dörrenbach to explore the "fairy tale path of the Brothers Grimm".
Since this tour is a bit short for us, we added the "Ruin Guttenberg" and the "Waldgeisterweg near Oberotterbach" and so we had put together a super nice and interesting tour.
There was a lot to see and discover. The Waldgeisterweg and the Märchenweg are ideal for small children, but also for big ones
From the Guttenberg ruin you have a great view of the region. Unfortunately, the Stäffelsberg tower is currently closed.
Nevertheless, it was a great day of hiking again. ✌️😎

Today hiking was on the program again and for that we (my sister and I) went to Rodalben for caves and rock hiking. 😊
Many caves and rocks were there ... A list follows later.
The bear caves (lower + upper) were a mega highlight. The lower cave has an outside waterfall and the upper cave has an inside waterfall that comes straight from the rock. 😁
The old rock bunker (a cave to walk through) was a great highlight on the tour. There were so many great rocks to see and experience.
I can recommend the tour and the region for every hiking fan & biker !!! ✌️😎
Have fun hiking and biking ... But by far. 😊🦇 Caves: 2 bear caves with waterfalls, old beer cellar, rock bunker on the head and many smaller ones.⛰️Rocks: Bruderfelsen, Baumbuschfelsen, Kiesebelsen, Fohnbachfelsen, Alte Burg, Hettersbachfelsen, Entensteinfelsen, Horbergfelsen, Zigeunerfelsen, Maibrunnenfelsen, Kanzelfelsen with viewing platform.

Today was another day, instead of with the bottom on the couch, rather with the bottom on the saddle. 😁
So this time my route went on the other side of the Rhine on the bike route and partly R6 (bicycle highway) towards Worms. 😊 I went through the bird sanctuary in Lampertheim, where there are beautiful paths and a viewing platform for bird watching. Nice place for a break. 😊
After Worms I continued on the R6 and to the Roman castle ruin Stein (Zullestein). A former outpost of the Roman Empire. There are tables and benches and a shelter if required. 😁
We continued on the beautiful bike path to the Gernsheimer ferry to get back to the Palatinate.
From here it was back on the well-known paths along the bike route and partly along the Rhine, past Worms towards home.
A nice tour that will definitely be repeated

Instead of spending the day on the couch, I thought I could also spend it on the saddle. So it went spontaneously on a small tour. 😁
This time on the Velo-Route Mannheim from Mannheim to Speyer, once across the Ketscher Rhein-Insel🏝️ and from Speyer the Salier-Radweg👑🚴 back to Frankenthal and then towards Heimat. ✌️😎
