The island tour by bike can be interrupted at the beach crossings in Pirolatal, Melkhorndüne and Meierei Ostend can walk to the observation deck from where you can look at the neighboring island of Spiekeroog and the seal banks.
Attention! You do not have to drive the Flinhörnweg back, but you can drive back on the bombed airfield and take the bike path through the forest into the village.
