The proud guild tree has stood opposite the town hall since 2004. It symbolically expresses the power, tradition and unity of regional craftsmanship. The Riesa guild tree has 35 “leaves” on which the guild symbols of all craft guilds in the region are depicted.

Hiking

When looking for the town hall in Riesa, all you have to do is look for the color green. The reason: The facade of the pretty building from the Middle Ages is wonderfully entwined with wisteria. Why is it called wisteria when it is green? Because every May the magnificent wisteria flowers bloom and transform the town hall into a blue dream.
