Today we did a walking / cycling / toy lap with the youngsters .. looking for a place to scare away the speedster .. in the end we discovered a relatively flat field and stayed a few laps there. The camera on the car is so-so .. then it just tips over too quickly. But it's really funny how long such a battery lasts .. From the mausoleum to home, including extra laps and wild heat in the field. It is also fun, but cycling cannot replace it.

Today a lunch session with Cherin and Ruby. Since the high moor had closed on our winter lap, we made up for today. The last time I was there as a child .. So it was a few moons ago 😆 The beautiful slatted path swings wonderfully with you when you run. And both Cherin and I came unanimously: "I'm sure you are in a really good mood by bike" aber but is unfortunately forbidden, sigh. We also visited the two Lugsteine, Ruby has again proven her relationship to the mountain goats. The Kahleberg was of course also great, only the asphalt main paths are a little boring without snow ... and put a strain on your feet. So the length of the lap was well planned. Thank you Cherin and Ruby 🙂

Today kids have fun in the Heller Mountains. The boys by bike, the big boys on foot. The electric speedster was there too. And until the suspension was over, everyone had fun with it.

Today we went with Cherin to Tiefenau Castle near Grossenhain. Unfortunately the rose garden was closed. It is only open when the client is present, due to structural defects .. a shame. Then it was a piece in the Gohrisch Heide or Niederelbterassen or aich former military area with field flight path .. exciting. The heather colors were intense like lavender. Various ponds formed the end. Countless swans, geese and ducks gathered on the largest ... conspiratorial meeting of birds 😆
Have a nice round, thanks for taking with you Cherin🙂

Since the GPS of my phone in conjunction with Komoot usually provided strange recordings, I treated myself to a Bluetooth GPS 🐀 from Garmin. The connection is a little fiddly: Install the Bluetooth GNSS app, look for developer options in the phone and share the "wrong location" for the GNSS app.
As a test round there was the usual: Lockwitzgrund, Gebergrund etc. great weather, pleasant wind but towards the end almost too warm for me.
Result: At the beginning it was still recorded here and there, but the 🐀 first has to hook up properly and expand the satellite archive. But otherwise more accurate than ever, no GPS breakouts when taking photos or anything else.
Conclusion: a, let's say, not quite as price-intensive alternative to the expensive full GPS that is useful for people who are annoyed by the GPS capers of their phone 😁.
The endurance test will soon take place in the gorges of Saxon Switzerland.

Doesn't get so warm, he thought, can he try the "ironman-tested", new insoles for hiking boots, he thought 🤣 Conclusion: the inserts are great, the boots are unsuitable for the weather because at the end of the Tour aquarium-like conditions prevailed 🧜‍♂️What is still unsuitable for these temperatures: I .. With temperatures above 25 ° C I just don't get warm (heat-induced pun).
The lower path in Lockwitzgrund currently ends in front of a herd of cattle .. that's why the dangling through Lockwitz on the road to Kreischa.

Today we took a look at the Steinreich, at the Bastei parking lot. I can only say small but nice. Sandstone, wood and an artificial stream and a little hermit charm. In addition, many plants, many insects (in a positive way) and good shade to survive even hot days. There is a small restaurant that we didn't try.
Maybe it was due to the corona visitor restriction (tickets can only be ordered online), maybe also because of the bathing weather, in any case it was pleasantly clear.
      Definitely a tip for children.

Today we went on a cave and adventure tour and on the whorl. Exciting for children in any case, you can scramble various stones and imagine yourself on the terrace path of the whorl, sometimes in the fern jungle. Boredom occurs so rarely, the little ones' imagination is stimulated well 😆 Every now and then the high spirits have to be slowed down a little, because sometimes it goes along the edge.
Was a nice little round that you can certainly expand (once around the top, once around the bottom).

It was worth getting up early, the sunrise and the view of the morning sun over the Elbe valley were spectacular.
Many thanks to Kai for the inspiration and Coriander for coming 😊

What the GPS is putting together here is incredible.
What is also incredible, the mini cages for fox and Co. still seem to be the same from before. There is so much space in between .. it could have been a little bigger. But certainly, as everywhere, there is no money for it.
